Welcome!

Welcome to $20 Gifts!  My goal with this blog is to get to know my fellow crafters and artisans, but also to give YOU a great shopping selection of fabulous gifts for $20 or less!

As the economy has been so poor, more and more people have turned their love of a craft into a business.  Though it is a dream come true to do what we love and work for ourself, it is also difficult to get enough exposure and recognition for your art and all your hard work to make that dream into a profitable dream.

At the same time, other families trying to make ends meet need affordable gifts for all the holidays and birthdays and anniversaries that continually dip into our pocketbooks.  And let me tell you - those on a budget need quality, too - and that's where handmade products really come into play!

So why not support each other?!  Whether you're an artisan or a homemaker (or both), stop by $20 Gifts on Facebook and join us!  New items are posted each day, all for under $20.  If you're an artisan, stop by the discussion area there and post your information if you'd like to be featured on our blog here.

I look forward to getting to know all of you!

Dea, you forgot to include the link to the facebook page so I'm putting it in the comment here for ya http://www.facebook.com/pages/20DollarGifts/111734092227935

You're about 7 likers away from being able to shorten that url to the custom name, which'll make it easier.

It's a good idea to do this. What kinds of topics are you thinking about talking about in this blog?

Thank you for this opportunity and support of all crafters! I'm not so good keeping up with blogs but will do my best:)

Thanks so much, Christina! That's one of the bad things about fibromyalgia - brain fog! LOL

I want to do articles on individual artists, but then follow up with an article on their craft in particular? That way, the blog will offer something to its readers other than just advertisement for people's shops, though that's always a good thing.

By the way, Christina - this is my attempt at my pages offering something besides ads for my items :-)

Thanks so much for joining, y'all!
